Susan Ko, Ph.D., Partner
Dec. 4, 2023 – Chicago, IL – Vantage Leadership Consulting, the global expert in identifying and developing world-class leaders, is pleased to announce Susan Ko, Ph.D. has joined the firm as a partner. She started working with Vantage in mid-November.
As the newest member to the firm’s partnership group, Susan plays a key role in executing Vantage’s vision of exceptional client service while also focusing on new business development and thought leadership.
“I was drawn to Vantage because I discovered a group of people who hold themselves to a high standard of quality without sacrificing kindness and living their values,” says Susan. “I’m enthusiastic about advising clients on their journey to establish the link between character, leadership excellence, and organizational results.”
Susan brings more than 20 years of experience as a licensed psychologist and executive coach as well as having expertise in assessment, multi-project management, talent recruitment, and leadership development. She has managed her own successful clinical practice since 2001 while also working for a variety of other organizations, including YSC Consulting’s private equity practice and Korn Ferry’s search services. Susan’s proficiency includes advising organizations on crafting winning talent strategies that align with business goals. Her executive coaching and senior team development relies upon rigorous assessment and analysis.

Susan earned both her master’s degree and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She also successfully completed her pre-doctoral internship at Columbia University Medical Center, New York-Presbyterian Hospital and her Sc.B. in psychology from Brown University.
Vantage has experienced significant growth and recognition in the last year. In October, Eileen Linnabery, Ph.D. became a partner and in July, the firm announced that Bonnie Taylor, Ed.D. was hired as a consultant. In April, Lees Parkin rejoined the firm in her newly created role as chief of staff. In January, the firm announced Kathrina Dubnicek joined the C-Suite as chief administrative officer, and that Stephanie Clay was promoted to director of human resources, learning and development. In October 2022, Danielle Klene returned to the firm as a consultant. Vantage was honored to send speakers from the firm to participate in nine sessions at this year’s annual Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) conference in Boston, Mass.
